Combat Control Orientation Course

 WHEN: 31 July - 6 August 2011

 WHO:
 - CADETS (minimum requirements) 15+ yrs old, c/SSgt,
 encampment graduate
 - SENIORS (minimum requirements) 2d Lt (FO) or above,
 must have completed Level I (limited billets available).
Cost: $180.00

This activity is a one-week introduction to the rigorous mission of Air Force Combat Control and the Special Tactics Officer career fields. In this course, students will be exposed to history of Combat Control, military parachute operations, weapon familiarization, air traffic control, close air support operations, rope work, and 'Air Force Special Tactics' tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP's). This is a high-adventure activity that promotes physical fitness & builds character.

 

All students (both Cadet and Senior Member) must meet the minimum
requirements listed above and be be able to pass the course physical
assessment upon arrival to CCOC.

 

The application procedures are:

1.    All Student Applicants (both senior member and cadet) will complete the following procedures to be considered for acceptance to the 2011 Combat Control Orientation Course.

2.    Applications (completed CAPF 31 and Physical Assessment Worksheet) will be accepted between 1 February 2011 and 15 May 2011. Wing Certification is required on CAPF 31 for all non-NCWG members. 3.    Applications will be accepted via e-mail OR mail:

4.    Selections will be announced NLT 31 May 2011.  There will be a number of stand-by slots.  Individuals selected for stand-by slots will be notified by letter with further information.

5.    Tuition is due NLT 1 July 2011 (further info on payment methods will be provided in acceptance packet).
